Mr. Sergey Balasanyan - Chairman

For more than 10 years Mr. Balasanyan worked for the Armenian Government and held senior positions at the Ministry of Finance and Economy, Prime Minister’s staff, as well as Economic and Structural Reforms Minister’s staff.

Currently Mr. Balasanyan is the World Bank consultant and is responcible for elaboration of “Student Credit System” strategy for Armenia.

He has a vast expertise in poverty reduction, education, as well as in issues related to public utilities.

Dr. David Karapetyan

Mr. Karapetyan is a Doctor of Economics and has a long term work experience with international organizations. He was a CEO of Euro-Fin consulting company for more than 4 years.

Currently Dr. Karapetyan is an expert with Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). He is a permanent resident of Canada and lives in Toronto.

Mr. Karapetyan has a profound knowledge of transition and development economies, detailed knowledge of private sector development issues, good knowledge of economic legislation and regulations in Armenia, in-depth expertise in financial analysis and investment management.

Dr. Narek Melkonyan

Mr. Melkonyan holds a Doctor of Economics and has been lecturing at the Armenian State University of Economics since 2002. He is the Export Manager at Pernod Ricard Eastern Europe / Yerevan Brandy Company.

Mr. Melkonyan is well experienced in SME support and business development, enterprise restructuring, competiteveness, industrial development and economy clustering.

Dr. Karen Martirosyan

Mr. Martirosyan is a Doctor of Economics. Currently he is the Deputy Director of Management Consulting section of Ameria consulting company. He had also worked with SAS Group as a Business development Director, as well as had been a team leader of World Bank Enterprise Restructuring project.

Mr. Martirosyan’s expertise is in financial and investment consulting, market research and surveys, sectoral analysis, project management, economic policy research and advice.

Mr. Karen Isahakyan

Mr. Karen Isahakyan is a project manager at J.E. Austin Associates inc., Washington DC based business consulting firm. He coordinates a number of projects in Armenia, Kosovo, Tanzania, Pakistan, India and Kyrgyzstan.

Mr. Isahakyan has a vast experience in private sector development and competiteveness projects, monitoring and evaluation, community development, project management and training.

Mr.Isahakyan holds MBA degree from the American University of Armenia. He is a permanent resident of the USA.
